DC Water Wizards

The DC Water Wizards sent a squad of 16 swimmers to compete at the 10th Annual Short Course Meters Solstice Meet at the Germantown Indoor Swim Center in Boyd, MD, on November 18.

Water Wizards swam extremely well setting 36 individual team records, breaking 19 established team records and establishing 17 team records in new events. Out of the 53 total individual swims, 39 were season’s best times!

In the team standings, our ladies placed SECOND out of 23 teams with 114 points, and our men placed SIXTH out of 25 teams with 131 points. Our overall team score was 281 and earned our team THIRD place out of 30 teams for the second year in a row!

In addition, two Water Wizards set meet records—our youngest woman and our most senior woman competitors:
